An exercise in minimalism and colour. I have been tremedously influenced by the great abstract colour photographers such as Ernst Haas and Saul Leiter.
Downtown, in the financial district one early morning, I saw this sharp narrow shaft of light piercing between two skyscrapers. The result was an interplay of light, shadow, colour and form. A deeply satisfying image to craft and create.
