During a less than inspiring session, while the sun was making its descent, I walked past a small void between two buildings in the west end. In this small alley, tucked away from the buzz of sidewalk traffic, a narrow dissected shaft of light caught my eye and stopped me in my tracks. The fun was in reducing the scene to its core elements while showcasing the light, lines and colour of the composition.
This image was my final shot of the day. An image that paints a picutre of imprisonment with the directional light and color serving as an opportunity for liberation. What do you see?
